Everything you need to know before you start. No surprises.
Structured Commitment
Our rental programme is designed to provide both flexibility and stability throughout the early stages of musical development. Rentals are billed quarterly in advance, with an Initial Term of three months. Following this period, you may conclude your rental at any time by returning the instrument prior to the next billing cycle.
As each billing period reserves an instrument exclusively for your use, unused months within an active cycle are not eligible for partial reimbursement.
Store Credit Accumulation
We believe that every investment in learning should contribute toward long-term ownership. For this reason, 100% of rental payments made during the first 12 months accumulate as Store Credit.
This credit may be applied toward the purchase of your current rental instrument, a future upgrade, or any eligible in-store acquisition. After the initial 12-month period, the rental programme continues uninterrupted, though additional rental payments no longer accrue Store Credit.
Growth Without Interruption
As students develop, their instruments should evolve alongside them. Complimentary Size Exchanges are available throughout the duration of your rental, ensuring that proper fit and comfort remain consistent at every stage of growth.
Your accumulated Store Credit transfers seamlessly to the new instrument, preserving the value of your investment without deduction, reset, or interruption.
Returns & Instrument Care
We understand that every musical journey follows its own path. Following the Initial Term, instruments may be returned at any time before the next scheduled billing date to conclude the rental arrangement.
We expect and account for the normal wear associated with regular study and performance. However, damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or neglect may require repair charges to restore the instrument to its proper condition.
To ensure a complete return, all original accessories supplied with the instrument should accompany the rental at the time of return.
Special Occasion Rentals
Certain performances, examinations, recitals, and short-term engagements may require temporary access to an instrument. For these occasions, we offer a limited selection of Special Event Rentals tailored to short-duration needs.
As these arrangements are distinct from our standard rental programme, they do not participate in Store Credit Accumulation. Availability and pricing are determined individually based on the nature and duration of the engagement.
*LYRA STRINGS CA reserves the sole right to determine instrument eligibility, final appraisal values, and credit application. All trade-in decisions are at the absolute discretion of the atelier. We reserve the right to modify or terminate program terms at any time without prior notice.
