01. About Us

LYRA STRINGS CA is a string instrument and accessories retailer based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. We specialize in the curation of violins, violas, cellos, and double basses, alongside professional setup and restoration services.

02. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to make purchases. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement.

03. Products & Services

All products are subject to availability. While we strive for absolute accuracy in descriptions and imagery, we do not guarantee that all information is error-free. We reserve the right to update product information at any time without prior notice.

04. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We accept the following secure payment methods:

05. Orders & Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed only when we issue a formal confirmation email. Until that point, no binding contract exists between the client and LYRA STRINGS CA.

06. Shipping & Delivery

We offer shipping within Canada. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. For local customers in the GTA, private in-store pickup is available by appointment.

07. Returns & Refunds

Our return policy is governed by the following artisanal standards:

Timeframe: Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Condition: Items must be unused, unopened, and in original archival packaging.
Instruments: Must be returned in the exact condition received, free of signs of use or modification.
Non-returnable: Opened strings, rosin, and used consumable accessories are final sale for hygiene reasons.

08. Repairs & Services

Repair and setup services are quoted case-by-case. A detailed estimate is provided before work begins. Instruments left uncollected for more than 90 days may incur storage fees.

09. Intellectual Property

All content — text, images, logos, and graphics — is the property of LYRA STRINGS CA. Reproduction or distribution without written consent is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

LYRA STRINGS CA shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service.
